This state-of-the-art substation seamlessly completes the transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, and compensation of electrical energy. It also efficiently manages system control, protection, and communication functions. Typically, this substation houses three essential compartments: 1) High voltage compartment, equipped with advanced high/medium voltage switchgear, such as a ring main unit or gas-insulated switchgear, with a maximum rated voltage capacity of 40.5kV. 2) Low voltage compartment, 3) Transformer compartment, featuring either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer.
