The robust shell material used for these substations includes stainless steel, aluminum alloy, cold-rolled plate, and non-metal materials. Known as the European type transformer substation, the Prefabricated Substation is renowned for its versatility and durability.
This sophisticated substation is designed to efficiently handle the transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, and compensation of electrical energy. It also provides critical system control and protection, alongside advanced communication functions. Typically, the substation is structured into three specialized compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear like the ring main unit and gas insulated switchgear, capable of reaching a maximum rated voltage of 40.5kV; the Low Voltage Compartment; and the Transformer Compartment, featuring either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer.


This substation serves as an essential power distribution unit within the electrical cable power network, playing a pivotal role in ensuring a stable and reliable energy supply. It is a comprehensive power supply solution that incorporates high voltage control, protection, conversion, and distribution. Designed for use with 3-phase AC 50Hz systems, it supports a rated current up to 1600KVA, making it ideal for deployment in industrial and mining enterprises. Daily average should remain less than 95% with the average water vapor pressure below 2.2kPa.
Monthly average should stay under 90% with an average water vapor pressure not exceeding 1.8kPa.
