This substation is engineered to efficiently manage the transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, and compensation of electrical energy. It also incorporates system control and protection, alongside communication functionalities. Typically, the substation consists of three distinct compartments: the High Voltage compartment (equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear like the ring main unit or gas insulated switchgear, with a maximum rated voltage of 40.5kV), the Low Voltage compartment, and the Transformer compartment (housing either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry type transformer).


This substation serves as a crucial power distribution supply unit in the electrical cable power network. It represents a comprehensive power supply set with high-voltage control, protection, conversion, and distribution capabilities, designed for three-phase AC systems at 50Hz and supporting transformers with a rated current of up to 1600KVA.
