Typically, the substation is meticulously divided into three integral compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, outfitted with cutting-edge high/medium voltage switchgear such as ring main units and gas insulated switchgear, with a remarkable voltage rating capacity reaching up to 40.5kV; the Low Voltage Compartment; and the Transformer Compartment, equipped with either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer.
