Typically, these substations are composed of three expertly configured compartments: a high voltage compartment (equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear, including ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, capable of a maximum rated voltage of 40.5 kV), a low voltage compartment, and a transformer compartment (featuring either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cutting-edge cast resin dry type transformer).
