These state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest system control, protection, and communication technologies. Typically, these substations are comprised of three expertly designed compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear, including ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, capable of handling voltages up to 40.5kV; the Low Voltage Compartment; and the Transformer Compartment, fitted with either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry type transformer, all designed to deliver optimal performance.
