This sophisticated substation is engineered to efficiently execute tasks including electrical energy transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, compensation, system control, protection, and communication functions. It is typically structured with three distinct compartments: the high voltage compartment, which is equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear like the ring main unit or gas insulated switchgear, with a maximum rated voltage of 40.5kV; the low voltage compartment; and the transformer compartment, housing either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer.


This substation serves as a crucial power distribution supply unit within the electrical cable power network. It is a fully integrated power supply system featuring high-voltage control, protection, conversion, and distribution capabilities.
