These substations are fully equipped to seamlessly perform the transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, and compensation of electrical energy. They provide robust system control, protection, and communication functions. Typically constructed with three distinct compartments, they include a high voltage compartment equipped with state-of-the-art high/medium voltage switchgear, such as a ring main unit or gas-insulated switchgear, with a rated voltage reaching up to an impressive 40.5kV. The low voltage compartment and transformer compartment are outfitted with either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry type transformer for optimal performance.
