Typically, this substation is strategically divided into three key compartments: the high voltage compartment, armed with sophisticated high/medium voltage switchgear such as ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, supporting a rated voltage of up to 40.5kV; the low voltage compartment; and the transformer compartment, featuring premium three-phase oil-immersed transformers or cast resin dry type transformers.
