This state-of-the-art substation is designed to adeptly handle the transformation, distribution, transmission, and measurement of electrical energy. It also excels in system control, protection, and communication functions. Typically, the substation is intelligently divided into three well-engineered compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear such as ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, boasting a maximum rated voltage of up to 40.5 kV. The Low Voltage Compartment and the Transformer Compartment complete the trio, with the latter being equipped with either a highly efficient three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry type transformer.
