Expertly engineered, it accomplishes the transformation, distribution, and transmission of electrical energy with precision. It integrates measurement, compensation, system control, protection, and communication functionalities. Typically, this substation is structured into three distinct compartments: High Voltage compartment, equipped with sophisticated high/medium voltage switchgear like the ring main unit and gas-insulated switchgear, capable of reaching a rated voltage of up to 40.5kV; Low Voltage compartment; and Transformer compartment, which houses either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer.
