It also provides critical system control, protection, and communication functions. The substation is meticulously arranged into three pivotal compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, featuring advanced high/medium voltage switchgear like ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, capable of handling up to a 40.5kV rating; the Low Voltage Compartment; and the Transformer Compartment, which can house either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer.
