this sophisticated equipment handles the transformation, distribution, transmission, measurement, and compensation of electrical energy. It also boasts system control, protection, and communication capabilities. Typically, the substation features three well-structured compartments: the High Voltage Compartment (equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear like ring main units and gas insulated switchgear, with a maximum rated voltage of 40.5 kV), the Low Voltage Compartment, and the Transformer Compartment (housing either a three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a cast resin dry-type transformer).
