Typically, these substations are structured into three distinct compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, which is equipped with advanced high/medium voltage switchgear, including ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear with rated voltages reaching up to 40.5kV; the Low Voltage Compartment; and the Transformer Compartment, which houses either three-phase oil-immersed transformers or cast resin dry type transformers, each designed to meet specific needs.
