Typically, the substation is composed of three meticulously designed compartments: the High voltage compartment, featuring high and medium voltage switchgear including ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, supporting a rated voltage of up to 40.5kV maximum; the low voltage compartment; and the transformer compartment, equipped with robust three-phase oil-immersed transformers or durable cast resin dry type transformers.
