Typically, the substation structure is divided into three distinct compartments: the High Voltage Compartment, equipped with cutting-edge high/medium voltage switchgear, such as ring main units and gas-insulated switchgear, capable of handling rated voltages up to an impressive 40.5kV; the Low Voltage Compartment; and the Transformer Compartment, featuring either a robust three-phase oil-immersed transformer or a state-of-the-art cast resin dry type transformer.
